We finished our season with a well deserved 1-0 win at 2nd place AFC Sudbury, with Sam scoring again.
You never know we might get recognition from the league for our achievements today or overall in April!

On Saturday 19 April we lost 0-2 at home to Play off chasing Brentwood. We conceded an early goal and never recovered.

On Saturday 12 April we finally won again by 2-1 at Waltham Abbey with two excellent goals from Sam Adejokun, which guaranteed our Ryman Division 1 status for next season. We went ahead in the first half, when Sam put away Junior Dadson's low cross. We missed more chances, then in the 2nd half, after controlling the game, we let Waltham Abbey back in and then lost the initiative, before Sam, with a solo effort, curled the ball in from the edge of the area.

On Tuesday April 8th against Wivenhoe, we gained a point with a 2-2 draw. In a crucial game for both sides at the bottom, we found ourselves 0-2 down after 30 minutes after some sloppy defending, despite doing much of the attacking but not creating many chances, but a 2nd half onslaught and fight back saw us score early in the half and then we had to wait until the last minute to equalise.

On Saturday April 5th we drew 2-2 at Home to League Leaders Dartford. At the start we would have been delighted with a draw, but as we were 2-0 up after 82 minutes, we would have liked to have held on for the win (and probably Performance of the Month award), but despite having to defend heroically against the continual aerial bombardment by Dartford we did well to keep them out so long.
We also broke our League and Cup attendance record with 335 being present.
Our thanks go to Dartford supporters for attending in such great numbers and for an enjoyable atmosphere, in the right spirit.
