Thamesmead completed the double over the Scholar's in a match marred by a nasty injury to home keeper Ryan Burbridge.
Theo Fairbrother-Johnson opened the scoring in the 7th minute, following up to net after Burbridge managed to parry a shot from David Neol. Fairweather-Johnson added a second on half-time to put his side in control after Denis Paratusic had replaced Burbridge between the sticks.
Whilst The Scholar's fought back to control the second hald it was harsh on them when Jack Hopkins made it 0-3 with 20 minutes remaining.
