Biography
|
Peter is 57 years old and a semi-retired Certified Accountant. He supports Spurs.
He went to school at Mount Grace, in Potters Bar, played for the school team, then joined the Club at 18.
He also played for the first team, managed the third team and for one season the first team.
In 1970 he took over as Secretary from Bill Venneear.
His other Marriage is to Carole who he married in 1974 and they have two son's Paul 29, and Adam 26.
When Carole was expecting Paul, he being due on a Sat-Peter in his wisdom rearranged the match-although to his pleasure Paul came along on a Thursday.
Carole went into labour with Adam on a Saturday whilst at Football but Peter did'nt panic and saw to his beloved Potters Bar first and then went with Carole and she gave birth the following morning.
He took over as Chairman in 1996.
Although he is indeed "Mr Potters Bar"
he acknowledge's all the help he gets and the support from his family means so much to him.
As well as Chairman he is also Treasurer and will not allow all the efforts of everyone who has helped the club to its present position go to waste or run up debts chasing dreams.
He acknowledge's all the help he get's and is grateful for it.
